Emmanuel De Bayser is a man of many spaces. Perhaps first known for his most public space – The Corner, a concept store based in Berlin, Emmanuel has also mastered the art of the apartment. Specifically, two of them. One in Berlin, the other in Paris, both immaculately designed by Emmanuel himself, both mid-century masterpieces.
His Paris apartment clocks in just over 600 square feet, though you would never know by looking at the photos. Emmanuel’s ability to incorporate an ornately decorated bedroom into a crisp modern aesthetic proves he knows exactly what he’s doing – in design, comfort, and space. The rest of the home, perfectly organized, and furnished with pieces and designs from some of the most legendary European artists of the 20th century (think Georges Jouve and Jean Prouvé) is a stop-you-in-your-tracks kind of beauty. The kind of beauty that invites you in, offers you a seat on a Pierre Jeanneret armchair, and makes you think, “But how does he keep his carpet so white?”
