Le Baume was recently awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association.

What does being awarded this seal entail? All products that are accepted by the NEA are free from ingredients on the NEA’s Ecz-clusion list and have undergone rigorous testing and scientific review. Their strict standards were developed by their Scientific Oversight Committee comprised of dermatologists, allergists and eczema experts, and all products undergo testing for sensitivity, irritation and toxicity in addition to the review of ingredients and formulation data.

You might be wondering, what is eczema?

Eczema is an inflammatory skin condition that causes dry skin, itchiness, rashes, scaly patches, blisters or skin infections. The most common type of eczema is atopic dermatitis, but there are seven types of eczema. Atopic dermatitis is caused by an overactive immune system that causes the skin barrier to become dry and itchy. You can read more about eczema on the NEA’s website here
